A pick-up truck was aquired recently by GEOCONSULT Ltd., to transport personel and equipment for the needs of geotechnical investigations and in sity tests.
Geoconsult Ltd joins research project During May 2016 the research group of University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) under the guidance of Professors Dimitrios Zekkos and Adda Athanasopoulos-Zekkos, performed dynamic penetrometer tests and shear wave velocity measurements at the ports of Lixouri and Argostoli in Cephalonia. Cephalonia island was devastated by two earthquakes on January 26th and February 2nd 2014. The new laboratory facility of GEOCONSULT Ltd was inaugurated at the Spata Business Park On July 8th 2016 the new Soil, Rock mechanics and Concrete testing laboratory facility of GEOCONSULT Ltd was inaugurated at the Spata Business Park. The construction of the laboratory was funded by the NSRF and it is a modern, operating facility with many innovations in environmental and energy design aspects.
